Four Film Festivals Move to Doc’s Drive-In Theatre
Buda, Texas near Austin is the new live screening location for four Film Festivals in 2020.
Buda, Texas: Film Festival Circuit, LLC today announced a new partnership with Doc’s Drive-In Theatre. This partnership will allow four different film festival events to screen in front of a live audience on September 13-14, 2020. The Austin Comedy Short Film Festival, Austin Micro Film Festival, Austin After Dark Film Festival and the Houston Comedy Film Festival 2020 editions.
“Most film festivals in the state of Texas have moved to a virtual format or have deferred their screenings until 2021. We were fortunate to discover Doc’s Drive-In Theatre. Doc’s is helping us offer a safe screening in an outdoor venue with great food and an excellent viewer experience close to Austin.” says Mikel Fair, Festival Director at Film Festival Circuit, LLC.

- This is a unique opportunity to screen 4 hours of independent short films per night on two different screens simultaneously.
- This venue serves as a temporary home for the Houston Comedy Film Festival for the year 2020, which began in 2008.
- Most importantly, filmmakers are able to share their films with friends, family and the Texas film loving audience at a live screening.
About Film Festival Circuit, LLC: Creators of eight ongoing film festival events in the United States.
